Our regular classes are currently based at DW Fitness First Angel. We have 19 different formats to ensure that every single time you have a good and varied workout. Running for 45 minutes, the class will push you out of your comfort zone and challenge you in every session. It is for all abilities and every class is different.

SMASHcamp

SMASHcamp is 80-minutes of Bootcamp style training where nobody gets left behind.

What is SMASHcamp?

SMASHcamp is a fun, mindful and rewarding 80-minute Bootcamp style class, split in to three manageable and distinct sections that will improve strength and fitness - in body and mind. These sections are often based on our week day classes and, as per the SMASH London ethos, you will never know what to expect! We have many SMASHcamp sections that have been created so the class will always feel different each time - just like attending SMASH classes during the week!

What level of fitness do I need to be?

SMASH London is for everyone and we created SMASHcamp with that ethos in mind. This means that whether you are advanced or new to fitness, all we ask is that you give 100% of what you are capable of on that day - whatever that looks and feels like in that moment is absolutely perfect! We don't compare ourselves to anyone else, or what we have achieved in the past, so all of your focus is centred on getting the most from the session - in that moment. With no expectations, you will always leave stronger than when you entered - that's a guarantee!

Is it safe to train for 80 minutes?

We wouldn't recommend training for this long every day, but once or twice a week is safe and beneficial as long as you have a good programme to follow and are prepared. There are three distinct sections, so it feels like three shorter classes combined, and every SMASHcamp class is designed to challenge you and keep you safe. As with all classes, any medical conditions or injuries should be declared before the class starts so we can ensure your workout is perfect for you. SMASH London is all about Body and Mind. How is SMASHcamp helping my mental health?

Every SMASH London class is designed to strengthen mental health, and this includes SMASHcamp. The challenge of SMASHcamp alone is a great way to overcome mental barriers, and it will certainly take many people out of their comfort zone. Throughout the class we will touch on positive affirmations, especially those based on strength, determination and commitment. We always end every class with our mindful minute and, as coaches, we will fulfil our SMASH London promise of encouraging, motivating and inspiring you to be stronger, healthier and happier - in body and mind.

SMASH DISCOVERY

Discover ways to be happier and healthier - in body and mind.

What is Discovery?

SMASH Discovery is a 90 minute workout for your body and mind. We start with a SMASH London class (as always, this will be a surprise!) before moving on to a 10 minute mindfulness meditation. We then finish with a 30 minute workshop designed to discover ways of being stronger and happier in mind.

What will the workout be?

The SMASH London ethos has always been that you will never know what class to expect! We want you to be the strongest and healthiest version of yourself and the best way to do that is to perform the exercises you love...and the ones you don't! It could be the fun of Playground, the strength of High 5, the focus of Agility, the intensity of The Burn. With 19 unique SMASH classes we guarantee that you will always leave the class stronger than when you entered... and isn't that ultimately what it's all about? 

How hard is the workout?

Every SMASH London class is suitable for all levels! We will always do our best to encourage, motivate and inspire you to give 100% but there are absolutely NO comparisons in any class. We don't compare ourselves with each other, our past selves or where we hope to be in the future. All we ask is that you give 100% commitment to what you are capable of doing in that moment - you will know what that looks and feels like 

Is mindfulness meditation for me?

Mindfulness meditation is for everyone! We have said before that mindfulness has massively changed both of our lives and, without it, there would be no SMASH London! It's 10 minutes of calm to centre your mind and reconnect, with no expectation to achieve anything in particular. You may be surprised at how strong you feel afterwards!

What does the workshop consist of?

The workshop is what makes Discovery the unique class that it is! It's a very relaxed setting and each session has a different focus. We have covered topics including taking yourself out of your comfort zone, managing negative emotions, habits and gratitude. We will normally have some written exercises that remain completely private, unless you wish to share. We will always lead the session and no one is expected to talk, but we do find that, after the fun of the class and the community feel that SMASH evokes, some people are happy to share their ideas and stories with the rest of the group. However, it's completely up to you how much you want to share with others, if at all. This is your session and we want you to be comfortable enough to get as much from it as possible!

Why should I come to Discovery? 

We created SMASH London so that every person in this amazing city could work on their physical and mental health in a fully inclusive, non judgemental and fun setting. We have achieved this with our classes and Discovery is a way to further work on improving mental health and well-being. With no expectation to feel any way, it's an opportunity to spend 30-minutes discovering new ways to be stronger, healthier and happier in body and mind. Life is challenging for all us at times so it's important that we take time to nurture our mind. We can learn to be kind to ourselves and appreciate all of the amazing qualities we have, whilst also being human enough to understand that there will be things we can do better, be stronger and happier. 

The best way to discover Discovery is to come along! The price is £10 per person (open to everyone, you do not have to be a member at Fitness First) or you can opt to pay £25 which gives you access to 3 Discovery or SMASHcamp sessions within a one year period. We are also offering a discounted entry fee of £5 for anyone who wants to try their first Discovery session!

Control

Who will you follow? Two choices, equally as challenging focusing on strength as well as HIIT.

High 5

5 rounds, 5 exercises, 5 minutes - using the step to get "high" combining more static moves with some good pulse raisers! 

The final countdown

Counting down your exercises! How quickly can you get through each round? What surprises do we have to throw into the mix?

CROSS-HIIT

The ultimate combo - Cross trainer intervals mixed with a 5 station circuit. Pushing you out of your comfort zone.

Everybody's favourite SMASH class. Return to the child version of yourself and PLAY! The aim is to have super fun, work as a team and finish feeling well worked and a little bit more in touch with your inner child!

Hard-COre

Working you "hard" in the spin studio and killing your core in the studio. Combining some of your favourite classes to get you working hard!

Based on the 7 pillars of mindfulness we will work on strength and cardio fitness in the factor of 7!

Working with the sandbags, weight plates or bodyweight only... Each round of exercise is slightly shorter than the last - sounds simple? Just try and see why it's not!
