Hey all, Sam here with a little email to share my gratitude and thanks with you...
Today marks exactly 10 years since my last alcoholic drink! You may have seen some pictures on our instagram page (and on mine @sam_smashlondon). Today is the end of this storyline, as alcohol is long gone for me. It is not a part of my life and I don't see it as an "ongoing problem" that I need to be weary of - I just know that I will never drink again.
10 years ago I was a completely different person. In the 5 years leading up to my 30th I slowly changed my life bit by bit, building my confidence, gaining friends and experiencing life as if I was a child again. I had a big "5 years sober" party, ran the London Marathon and then went travelling for a year.. 5 years later my life looks very different again - building my personal training business and then co-founding SMASH London with one of my best friends.
The LONG version of my story can be found HERE if you want to re-read it (with a cup of tea)!
My life is about spreading positivity and happiness as much as possible and I will be forever grateful to the people that have been there for me over the years, even if they are no longer a part of my life. Everybody has their own story and I am thankful to be able to share mine with such an amazing bunch of people!
You guys are my heroes!
