SMASH Coaching and Workshops

What is SMASH coaching?
SMASH coaching is designed to help you optimise your daily habits to be the strongest version of you in both mind and body. When you sign up to SMASH coaching you will meet with one of the SMASH team for 5 consecutive days, starting with “day 1” where we will talk through your intentions and priorities for the next 4 weeks. Each day we will work through various exercises to help you build a strong foundation to achieve your intentions.
A coaching webpage will be accessible for you with a recap of what we cover in the session about as well as specific resources and challenges for you each day for the next 4 weeks.
On your “day 10” we will have a follow up chat to see how you are getting on and what obstacles and challenges may have impacted your new habit plan which will help us make adjustments to the remainder of the month.
The cost for this package is £100


SMASH workshops (around 30 minutes each)
We are introducing three new technique workshops to help you stay as strong and injury free as possible when working out with SMASH or at the gym. You can choose to attend all three, or choose whichever you prefer.

  • Avoiding and reducing lower back pain

    • This workshop will give you some important tips when it comes to strength moves that involve a lot of movement in the lower back (deadlifts, squats). We will go through some strengthening exercises specific for the back and the core as well as specific stretches to help alleviate tightness and soreness that we may experience in the back and hips.

  • It’s not all about squats! – activate and strengthen the glutes

    • Through all of our years in the fitness industry, one of the most common issues many of us have is weak or "lazy" glutes – or at least one glute! When are glutes are not working efficiently, a lot of pressure is put onto our lower back and hamstrings. In this workshop we will go through some useful activation exercises for the glutes to ensure that they are “fired up” and ready to go before your workout. We will also cover some great exercises to help balance both sides of the body.

  • It’s all in the shoulders – the posture workshop

    • A very common centre for pain in our clients has been in the shoulders and neck. For some of us it is the main place where stress and anxiety shows itself but a lot of it comes down to our posture, particularly if we are working or studying at a computer for most of the day. This workshop will focus on some ways to stretch out the neck and chest and include some upper back strengthening exercises to help support that “perfect” posture.

The cost per person is £10 per workshop or £25 for all three (there is a limit of 8 people per workshop)

Single online introduction personal training session specific to you
A 45 minute class or personal training session with Sam. Perfect if you need help with technique, if you have been unable to get to some of our classes or if you need some ideas of alternative exercises. No equipment necessary. 
These individual sessions are bookable with a discount from our usual online prices and are also available as an add-on to our coaching packages
£25 for 45 minutes
